The Inspiration of Marc Laurent
Los Angeles based premium leather designer, Marc Laurent, began working with Michael Jackson in the early 1980's to create a jacket for the "Beat It" video. Collaborating together at the singer's home, Laurent and Jackson began thumbing through magazines until Jackson ran across a shark suit and gloves made of steel chain mail.
